I'm liberal.

I consider myself a Californian. SF Bay Area makes my second hometown.

I'm not fetish, but I like fast computers.

I'm not Anti-Mac, but I use a Dell.

I like South Park, and I read Asiazine periodically.

I enjoy cool commericals more than reality TVs.

Still trying to figure out why people love sushi so much.

Don't mention "Free Tibet" to me because I think Dalai Lama/Richard Gere is a bad combination.

Same ingredient: Currey, I like Thai food a lot more than Indian cusine.

I'm a Fobulous.

My name is Shaun Au. This is my personal website. I’m a new media designer who lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. My passion is in the broadband/broadcast design. After I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University design program in 1997, I got really attracted by the evolving new media design. So I have been designing media rich websites and producing interactive disc based medium like CD-ROM, DVD ever since. The way I look at this new media thing is that I can bring all my creative interests (graphic/interactive design, video and animation) together on one stage. Movies and TV programs have a lot of impact on the way I work on my design projects.

When I’m not designing websites, I like to take digital photos and shoot DVs. Photos and videos usually end up in my documentary or MTV. DV is fun to work with, and I’ve gotten a hang of it.

I do some volunteer work for Chinavisual.com. I translate English design articles to Chinese. My Weekly Site Pick feature on Chinavisual has been very sucessful.

When I'm not designing, photographing, videotaping, translating, eating, drinking and sleeping, I would like to go out for a bike ride. Myspokes.com is my personal bike-riding site. I’m fond of light weight bikes, but I’m NOT a weight-weenie.
